Journal Submission Guidelines

Authors should comply with the following criteria:
  • i. Articles submitted must not have been published or be under review for publication by any other online or offline journal.
  • ii. Non-English submissions must include an English abstract and title for indexing purposes.
  • iii. The length of the article should not exceed 15 A4 pages, and should contain an abstract of not more than 200 words. Book reviews must not exceed 1,500 words.
  • iv. The manuscript should be typed according to the latest APA writing and referencing format.
  • v. Tables and figures must be numbered, labelled and placed in the appropriate pages in the body of the manuscript.
  • vi. Article submission must be electronic and in Microsoft word format.
  • vii. Names, affiliations and any other personal information of authors should be written on the title page of the article for email submission, and in the provided spaces on the journal's website.

Plagiarism Policy

All articles are subjected to an anti-plagiarism check via EAGLESCAN with a 15% similarity index threshold excluding references and properly cited quotations.

Copyright Policy

Published articles may be used for research, teaching, and other educational purposes. However, authors alone are responsible for the contents of their articles, but the journal owns the copyright of all published articles. The publisher shall not be liable for any loss, claims, proceedings, demands, costs or damages arising directly or indirectly in connection with published articles.

Privacy Statement

The names and email addresses provided by authors in the title pages of submitted articles or on the journal's website will be used exclusively for the journal publication process. All authors' personal data will be processed in accordance with Nigeria's Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and retained only as necessary.

Retraction Policy

Authors and the journal have the right to retract (i.e withdraw) manuscripts for some valid reasons at any time before or after publication. Reasons for article retraction may include fraudulent data, plagiarism, multiple submissions of the article, fake authorship claims, etc. For an author to retract an article, a written request addressed to the Editor-in-Chief of the journal must be submitted via the journal's email specified, or on its website through the manuscript submission system. Such a request must indicate the title of the manuscript, reason for retraction and signature of the corresponding author. However, upon the completion of a retraction process, a retraction note shall be released by the journal in its subsequent issue in that respect.
